Zakka, Kimberley, MD

8/18/26 – Present

Dr. Zakka graduated summa cum laude from Boston College with a degree in biochemistry and Hispanic literature and completed a master’s with merit in health data analytics and machine learning at Imperial College London. She earned her MD from the American University of Beirut and completed her residency in pediatrics at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital.

Her current research lies at the intersection of metabolic dysregulation and asthma, with an emphasis on understanding how metabolic abnormalities contribute to more severe asthma and airway inflammation. She is also interested in leveraging artificial intelligence/machine learning to develop predictive models that can improve patient outcomes and enable more personalized approaches to asthma management.

Supron, Andrew, MD

7/1/25 – Present
Andrew is a second-year fellow in allergy and clinical immunology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He completed his undergraduate degrees in classics and chemistry at Rice University before entering medical school at Johns Hopkins. He moved to Boston in 2022 for internal medicine residency and has been based at Brigham and Women’s since.
 
His translational research involves the use of proteomic analysis to identify novel biomarkers for asthma and phage immunoprecipitation to explore the role of antibodies in chronic rhinosinusitis. In his free time, Andrew enjoys relaxing with his greyhounds, playing the piano, and learning languages.

I chose BWH for the people. I learned quickly as a resident that the faculty and fellows in the allergy/immunology division were incredible, and as a fellow, I continue to feel this. The group cares so much about my professional development and even more so about my personal wellbeing and growth. We’re a “big” division as far as allergy/immunology programs go, but still so closely knit. It’s this wonderful balance of rich science and down-to-earth people that I love most here.

Kovacs, Stephen, MD, PhD

7/1/25 – Present
Dr. Kovacs is a first year fellow in Allergy and Immunology. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Johns Hopkins University, and his combined MD/PhD from University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill. He then completed his internal medicine residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital prior to joining the department at Brigham. 

I chose Brigham because of its unique blend of clinicians who are leaders in their respective diseases of interest, and talented researchers in both allergy and basic immunology. This environment produces exceptional mentors for developing myself into a well-rounded physician-scientist.

Davidson, Lauren, MD

7/1/24 – Present

Dr. Davidson is a third year Allergy and Immunology Fellow at  Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She graduated from the Six-Year Accelerated B.A./M.D. program at UMKC School of Medicine. She then completed her residency in Internal Medicine at The University of Rochester Medical Center.

I chose Brigham and Women’s Hospital for fellowship as it offers the ideal environment to grow as a clinician with state-of-the-art research facilities, surrounded by leaders in the field, outstanding colleagues, and a culture of innovation and excellence. The faculty’s dedication to fostering the next generation of physician-scientists is evident in the individualized support and guidance provided throughout training.

Hino, Christopher, MD

7/1/24 – Present

Dr. Hino is a third year Allergy and Immunology Fellow and graduated summa cum laude from Occidental College with a degree in Biochemistry. He earned his M.D. from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.  Prior to joining BWH, he trained in internal medicine at Loma Linda University Medical Center. 

Brigham and Women’s Hospital was my first-choice for fellowship training due to its unparalleled mentorship, strong culture of academic excellence, and dedication to developing physician-scientists. The program’s emphasis on rigorous research training and collaborative scholarship aligns perfectly with my career goals in academic medicine. My current research focuses on elucidating the mechanisms by which allergic inflammation shape pathogenic B cell responses within the germinal center.

Raychaudhuri, Sanchita, MD

7/1/24 – Present

Dr. Raychaudhuri is a third year fellow in Allergy and Immunology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She graduated from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and completed her residency in pediatrics at University of California at Davis. 

I am very grateful to be training in allergy and immunology at Brigham and Women's Hospital, and have received excellent teaching and support from the faculty and staff here. Currently, I am conducting research on the development of pediatric food allergy.
